Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor's much awaited Baaghi trailer has hit the digital platforms. Replete with some death defying action moves and stunts, Baaghi trailer is kickass! But then again, it has been lifted from two films. Don't believe us? We have proof!
Let's start off with the story of Baaghi first. Tiger and Shraddha meet on a train and they instantly get attracted towards each other. Love at first sight, people! Then they keep bumping into each other every time it rains. (The smooching picture too was in the rain, remember?) Then love blossoms on both sides but there's an issue. Another gangster has already fallen in love with Shraddha and on knowing that Tiger also loves her, he attacks Tiger and kidnaps Shraddha. Then, Shraddha is kept hostage in a multi-storeyed building with guards on different floors. While on one floor, you have martial art specialists, on the other you have commandos. Tiger has to single-handedly fight his way up to the top floor where Shraddha is captured and kept.
Now, this is exactly Varsham meets The Raid: Redemption. Why we say so? Varsham, a South Indian 2004 flick starred Prabhas and had the same triangle love plot, along with the references to the rain sequences. And Tiger fighting his way up to the top floor is something totally lifted from a Hollywood film- The Raid: Redemption. There, the team of commandos have to battle all the goons to make their way to the 30th floor of a building. Sounds exactly the same, right?
